Princess Grace's contributions to her adopted country were many, some of which we will be able to enjoy on our trip! Highlights of Monaco are: Prince's Palace, Casino & Opera & casino gardens (all in the basic same location, if that tells you anything!), the amazing & unique Musee Oceanographique (ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau was its most famous "captain"!), a world-renowned museum of the ocean, full of amazing & unusual exhibits of antiquity to modern era marine exploration, from all creatures of the deep (see the giant squid display below!) to polar bear & sea bird display studies... it is a FASCINATING place! Next unusual sight is the Jardin Exotique & its natural caves (gardens full of unusual plants from around the world), the Zoological Gardens (pet project of Prince Rainier begun in 1954), Princess Grace's Rose Gardens & Fontvieille Park, the Japanese Gardens, Princess Antoinette Gardens, St Martin Gardens, Fort St. Antoine & theater, & most notably, the Monaco Cathedral, where Prince Rainier & Grace Kelly were married AND where they now are entombed. Due to changing laws & regulations, travelers are responsible for checking on & obtaining proper

documentation & identification necessary for their travel.

By law, travelers are required to check in at LEAST 2.5 hours prior to departure time at the airport... failure to check in by this time

(checking in late) may forfeit ALL your travel with no refunds or compensation given. Due to heavier security measures & a lengthy

check-in process at the airport, please arrive at the airport early, both on outbound & return flights, to allow ample time for the whole check-in

process... if you check in late, the airline will cancel your space & refuse boarding, & you will be paying penalties to change your

tickets or buying new tickets to get home. BE EARLY! The above travel requirements & regulations are mandatory...  no refunds or

compensation will be made due to non-compliance with these above government regulations & denied boarding as a result.
